asaran blues.....

we did our laundry last night and while i was folding the clothes, nag-asaran na naman kami ni dell.....

asaran 1: (i was making pagpag his denim jeans na kakukuha ko from the dryer)

D: kala ko umiksi ung pants ko

O: e bakit mo naman naisip yan

D: kala ko lang nga.....naalala ko maliit pala ako

O: wish mo lang

asaran 2: (folding my shirts)

D: hanep baby, lahat ng t-shirts mo pang-petite ah, kaya pag suot mo yan (pink minnie mouse shirt with minnie mouse print in front), alam ko na itsura ni minnie mouse pag tumaba.

at di pa ko tinigilan.....

D: alam ko na, one time pag may party tayo, yan ung suot mo para pag humirit ako na "gusto nyo ba makita kung ano itsura ni minnie mouse pag tumaba?" sabay harap ka baby ha.....

asaran 3: (nagfofold pa rin ako dahil mahigit 40 t-shirts ata ung nilabhan namin)

D: baby, pag may nagtanong kung kaninong mga shirts yan (my shirts), sabihin mo na lang sa dalaga mong anak kasi baka pag sinabi mong sa iyo e di maniwala.

at ang huling hirit.....

O: hahaha....patawa-patawa

D: hoy may karapatan akong magpatawa dahil kalbo ako!

for the first time.....

yesterday was the very first time dell and i went out since giving birth, just the 2 of us. the kids came over and offered to look after their baby brother so we could do some errands. but before we left, i fed Inigo first so that he would not go into his crying feat and not drive his sisters crazy. so off we go the supermarket to get some week supply of food and then to a chinese resto to get some take out for a late lunch with the kids. how i miss those times when we had nothing to worry about, when the hours seemed to tick so slowly. but being a worrywart mommy, i think i was calling them every 10 mnutes. i was glad to hear that Inigo was behaving well and I guess he was enjoying all the attention that he's been getting from his sisters. when we got home, my baby has fallen asleep. thank GOD that he didn't give his sisters a hard time.....but because i am so sanay on having Inigo with us all the time, be it in the grocery, laundrymat, shopping or our friday night at barnes and noble, it may take a while before i get used to it again.

finally.....

dell finally broke the news to his 4 daughters about their baby brother. they cried at first but after a while, they were all so excited to see their baby brother. they came here yesterday after their church service and it was also going to be their first time to meet their new stepmom ;o) i felt a little nervous because they might not approve of me (suddenly the scenes from madrasta came into my mind). but dell speaks highly of his children and so the meeting turned out well. they doted on their brother and they took turns on carrying him. it was such a relief to see that Inigo is now accepted and loved by his sisters but there was also a tinge of sadness because his other ate was not there to witness it.....and that is his ate pat.

we had dinner at pinocchio's and it was such a sight to see the girls trying to finish their food in a hurry so that they could carry Inigo. i now have 4 babysitters ;o) and it's good to know that they like me for their dad. it's going to be one merry christmas for all of us. i guess all's well that ends well.

christmas party 2005

we had our barkada's christmas party last friday at dette's house. we have been holding our christmas party there for 4 consecutive years and maybe this one would be the last because the house is up for sale already. it was so much fun because everybody was having a great time and of course it was great to see tita baby (dette's cool mom) again. we started the party quite late since it was a working day. the call time was 8pm and being the filipino in us, we were all an hour late. for the exchange gift, we made it easier for the nakabunots. we listed down 3 items that we wished to get and guess what? i got 2 of what i wished for. a nice telephone/address book and the da vinci code book. thanks revon! dell got 2 gifts too... the nba live 06 psp game and the driven from within (michael jordan book)...thanks anthony!and our little boy got some cool gifts too from his ninongs and ninangs. it ended at 3:30am. well, it was such a great party and it was such a nice feeling to be surrounded by people you care for.

15.....

it's my daughter's 15th birthday today (manila time). it's been 3 years since i last saw her and sometimes i just see myself crying because i miss her so much. but i thank the LORD because inspite of my absence, she's grown to be one fine young lady.....refined, courteous, generous and humble.

my daughter has been my strength all these years. my source of inspiration. thanks darling for being in my life because you surely makes life worth living.

my birthday wish for her is may the good LORD continously bless her with good health and to protect her from any harm, dangers, illness that may hurt her.

giggles.....

i was doing the dishes.....dell and igi were playing peek-a-boo.....then i heard it! my baby's first giggles...... i ran to the bed to see and hear it for myself. there he was enjoying his playtime with his daddy and he kept on giggling.....i was speechless..... overwhelmed with so much joy of my baby's FIRST giggles.....and here's to looking forward to more of my baby's firsts.....

guilty.....

i feel bad today :o( hindi ko kasi naasikaso baon ng ama. balik na kasi siya sa old schedule niya na 9am to 6pm. sa dibdib ko kasi natulog si bebelab right after i fed him so hindi ko mailipat sa tabi ko at baka magising. i really feel so bad kasi baka isipin ng ama na i'm neglecting him. di bale, treat ko naman siya for dinner tonight at old town pasadena. then after dinner, we'll walk around and maybe do some shopping. hehehe
