the first haircut.....

we waited for inigo to turn 1 to have his first haircut...and yesterday was the day. his tita maridel who owns a salon in fullerton was more excited than us and even labeled the envelop where we were to put his hair. but it was like a major production in prepping him up for the haircut. daddy was carrying him all the time while his ate gabee had to keep him amused by making funny faces and tita maridel had to work fast or else he's gonna go into a fit again if he sees the scissors. snip, snip, snip and there goes his first hair.....and mamarazzi was busy taking the photos...not too great photos but good enough to preserve the memories.

one lazy saturday afternoon..... mommy got bored.....

prayers please

i believe in the power of prayers...that's how i start and end my day. no matter how sleepy, tired, frustrated or angry i am, i do manage to say a little prayer of thanks for a beautiful day that just passed.

they also say that prayers can move mountains so to all my blogger friends, please say one for dell on september 1. he is going through a bitter battle with the ex-wife and the verdict will be on that day. it's not about winning or losing. we just want everything to be done fairly and legally. the ex has been very, very bad and dell is just giving her what she's asked for. but it would still be better if we all say a prayer for him. that the verdict would be in his favor.

he's been good to her even if they've been divorced. still with access to his work benefits but she's crossed the line.

dell deserves to be happy and burden free. she's been one to this day and hopefully by september 1 she starts looking for ways to make more money if she wants to keep her g*ddamn house.

and i have cut my ties with her...she's someone you wouldn't lose sleep over.

and i'm glad i have lots of friends..... ;o)

a few years back, i met Apl, when they were still a struggling band trying to break the music scene. he used to tag along with my nephew in picking me up at work. in our conversation, he always tries to speak to me in tagalog so as not to forget the language. glad to know that with all the fame and fortune, he has not forgotten his roots.

This is Generation One set in 1936 and Generation Two set in 2006.

happy 1st birthday our dearest son...you've grown and how daddy and i wish that we could stop the time and keep you a baby forever. for now, we will treasure each and every moment that we spend together because we know in time, you will be on your own. but no matter what, you will always be our baby and that our love for you goes beyond words.

a new discovery.....

MOSKATEL - a company that sells everything you need for birthday parties, baby showers, weddings and everything you could think of. i was amazed by the huge selection of items that they carry. i was able to buy everything that i need for igi's birthday party and also got some good deals because they were selling some stuff for scrapbooking. bought some ribbons for 90c per spool.

that's it for now since i am so tired from checking each aisle for good bargain. i will definitely go back to this store.

it's our little boy's birthday today.....he's one! he woke up happy and clapping and gave us kisses and hugs. how sweet!!! but celebration will be on the 12th. tonight, we will have dinner with some of his ninangs at goldilock's because one of our friends has to catch the 8pm train. i will post pix later...
