libre ang mangarap

and in english we call it daydream and according to the online dictionary it means:

: a pleasant visionary usually wishful creation of the imagination

and it's free so when dell and i daydream (which is often) we talk about what vehicle to buy if we have the money and our top 3 picks are the following:

1) Mercedes Benz G500 (in white)

2) Range Rover Sport (in black or silver)

3) Volvo XC90 (in white)

well, if our dedication and perseverance to our home-based business pays-off, then we will be bringing one of these babies home.

can't wait!!!

and the new chapter in our lives begin

we finally bid adieu to the house we called home for 1 year 7 months and 19 days. and since dell's sister decided to just have it rented, we're hoping that the new tenant would take care of it.

we haven't moved to the valley yet since we still have some personal matters to attend to here in Fullerton. We're officially moving in on July 1st but most of our stuff are already in dell's house. so right now, we're billeted at wyndham hotel and my little boy enjoys swimming every afternoon.

we're looking forward to settling down in his house for good. and there are some home improvement projects lined up for us and our no. 1 priority is to install a small kitchen for the studio unit so it could generate an income already.

then next project would be my scrap/office space....can't wait!

rainy day q's

this is lifted from the e-group i belong to. and since summer is almost here, i yearn for fall/winter. the summer heat is just too much and i'm pretty sure that we would just be holed up at home most of the time.

1. I love it when it rains because it gets cooler and we can sleep without the a/c on and not worry about our electric bill. The cool breeze makes us snuggle closer until we doze off to lala land.

2. My number one comfort food during rainy days is sinangag, daing, itlog and kape...devouring it while still on my pjs and watching the rain from our breakfast nook.

3. What is the worst typhoon event you can remember (year and/or typhoon name) and why?
Can't remember what year or even the name but it was the worst for me. Me & my ex-hubby were on our way to work and got stuck somewhere in Sampaloc for hours. And because the traffic wasn't moving anymore, we tried falling asleep kasi it was early morning rush hour. Then all of a sudden our feet started to get cold...noon pala pinasok na ng tubig yung car...

4. Were you allowed to play in the rain when you were a child? What was the experience like? Would you allow your kids to play in the rain?
OH YES! We would play habulan in the rain or go biking while raining or minsan nakaupo lang sa sidewalk and nagre-race ng paper boats...those were the days...=) kaso di naman masyado malakas ulan dito so I doubt it if Igi would enjoy playing in the rain.

5. Is there something you and hubby love to do together on a rainy day?
Yeah...we just do dvd marathon, order food and pig-out then pag tulog na si bunso - some loving loving...=)

hay.....sana naman umulan dito sa CA.....

i'm back!

naulila (as bjay put it) ko ng matagal-tagal ang aking blog. i was so busy with the other social networking sites without thinking that some of my blogger friends might not be a member of those sites.

anyhoo, just a little update:
  • pat is back in the philippines after 4 months of staying in the US. masinsinang usapan ang namagitan sa aming mag-ina before i agreed for her to fly back to the PI and finish her schooling there. i did give her a warning that one wrong kalokohan and she'll be back in the US faster than a speeding bullet.
  • i've resigned from my job effective june 1, 2008. not that i was so sick of it (though i was getting there) but because of some changes we needed to do with our current living situations. don't worry,it's not bad as you think it is. with just the gas prices going up, we've decided to move to the valley (dell's house) to save gas since his work is just 4 miles away. i've sacrificed my job since i was really contemplating on quitting. it was just a perfect timing!
  • i turned 40 - haven't celebrated my birthday yet as my days are spent packing. sa kapaguran, tinulugan ko lang ang aking special day but i will definitely celebrate it. sabi nga nila diba - better late than never...
  • and lastly....i'm enjoying being a SAHM again (though it's just temporary). i just love being with my son though he drives me nuts most of the time. but with that one smile, it just takes away all the inis with his kalokohan.
that's all for now folks...i'm on my last leg of packing all our stuff. i'll be back soon to keep you posted with our lives.

and yes bjay, i'm still alive hahaha....
