time does fly so fast....parang kailan lang, i got the shock of my life when i found out i was pregnant. ngayon, isa nang napakakulit at botchog na bata ang anak ko. let's go down memory lane (kung kaya pa ng powers kong maremember ang mga pangyayaring nangyari sa buhay ko).
actually, it was christmas 2004 when i suspected that i could be pregnant. i was already delayed pero i had a very irregular cycle but iba talaga ang kutob ko. i went up to reno for a "white christmas" and when we finally arrived, i had spotting. akala ko, period ko na pero tumigil din to. until we drove back to LA, wala pa rin so i decided to take the pregnancy test and it came out positive. dang! hindi pala ako baog! i was excited....actually i was more than excited. i couldn't find the right words to describe the feeling. for someone who had been wanting to have another child....excited was an understatement.
but it was not an easy pregnancy.....may mga kadugtong ding problema and anxieties on my part. but iba talaga ang powers ng prayers, we were able to go through life's difficulties in a breeze because of our strong faith.
before we knew it, i've given birth to our little boy. he was such a blessing that it made us fall in love with life all over again. sabi nga sa isang tv commercial.....a baby changes everything. we have learned to live simply.....to appreciate life's simple blessings and to give importance to the things we always take for granted. we live for our children.....his, mine and ours. we ended our 2005 rightly.....made amends with our enemies, forgiveness to those who have hurt us.
now comes 2006.....we don't know what's in store for us but hopefully, life would be easier. i wish simply.....to continuously bless us and the rest of our family good health.
