the past few days.....

it's been a week since my last post. i've been busy taking care of Igi. in fact, i'm typing with my left hand while holding him in my right arm while he's busy munching on his socks. i just want to remember what transpired the past few days.

SATURDAY

went malling with Igi's Ate G and bought some scrapbook materials. then spent the day with the kids at dell's house. dell's house means the ex-wife as the queen of the house. awkward isn't it? but no, the ex-wife is so accommodating and warm and has welcomed me and Igi with open arms. she doted on him and even offered to babysit if needed.

SUNDAY

went to my former HS batchmate's house for a post christmas dinner. it was cancelled so many times and thank goodness it finally pushed through. food was awesome (rice, binagoongang baboy, sotanghon, lumpiang gulay to name a few) and had some to go's. we stayed till 11pm since there's work the following day.

the rest of the week...me and Igi got sick so we're busy trying to get well. we have two dinner invitations this friday (same place) but looks like we won't be able to make it. i'd rather stay home and snuggle close to my little boy. but on sunday, there's a lunch invitation from dell's parents because they want to see Igi. but it all depends if we feel a little better, meaning no more running nose and coughs. we can always reset diba?

there's also a discussion if this is the better time to purchase our own place. there's a newly renovated townhouse near the ex-wife's house (10-minute walk). very ideal for us-3 bedroom, 2.5 baths, 2-car garage, hardwood floors, granite kitchen top. perfect but the big question is -- can we afford the monthly payment since dell is also paying for the other house's mortgage? abangan ang susunod na kabanata.

oh....and i was able to work on my first scrapbook layout. i'm still missing one picture then it's all set. i'll post it as soon as i finish it.

and lastly, we get to watch dell's sbc commercial palagi. and eagerly waiting for the paycheck.....
