frugal.....

in the midst of the brouhaha that is going on in our lives, i've found other ways to contribute in the finances. i've sold some items on eBay and i didn't realize that it could be very rewarding. who would have thought that you could make money on items you thought were worthless after you have used it. in fact, i am just waiting for 2 other items to close. the exersaucer that i put up on bidding has 11 watchers so far with 3 more days to go.

aside from this, ive decided to cut off my mobile phone and just get a prepaid line since i hardly use the phone. my friends (here in the US) know that if they want to reach me, the best way is through email or a message on my yahoo chat. second is my direct dial on my landline. this feature gives me full access to call my family back home and chat like i've never left the PI. though it heals my homesickness, it hurts my pocket.

with all these costcutting measures, i hope that we'd be able to meet up all our financial obligations without compromising our life's simple pleasure...and hopefully we would be able to fix the problem that b*itch has created.

on a lighter note, we're off to oakglen for the yearly family camping of dell's church. we need this breather from all the stress that we've been through lately. but we will make a sidetrip to cabazon before we head off to the campsite. don't worry, we're not going to splurge (after all the pagtitipids), we just want to get a good set of pots and pans and probably find our little boy his birthday outfit. hope the weather would cooperate this time. it's been too darn hot lately ;o( oh well, there's always the pool to cool us off.

have a good weekend everyone.....see you all next week ;o)
