personality test.....

i took some personality tests online out of boredom and was amazed not of the results but that they have html code that you could post on your blog.
here's mine.....
Global Personality Test Results
Stability (66%) moderately high which suggests you are relaxed, calm, secure, and optimistic.
Orderliness (76%) high which suggests you are overly organized, reliable, neat, and hard working at the expense too often of flexibility, efficiency, spontaneity, and fun.
Extraversion (56%) moderately high which suggests you are, at times, overly talkative, outgoing, sociable and interacting at the expense of developing your own individual interests and internally based identity.

weekend @ big bear lake

we spent our weekend (with some friends) at big bear lake. as usual, a change of atmosphere is always a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. hey, even SAHMs deserve a break from it once in a while. anyways, it's only 1 hour and 45 minutes away (if you follow the directions from yahoo map to a T) but we decided to leave early so that dell and gabee can snowboard in the afternoon. it was a smooth drive until we got to the zigzag part. i got dizzy and i think i almost finished a pack of gum just to keep me from throwing up. ugh! i hated the feeling. finally after 14 miles of zigzag road, we reached the lake. unfortunately, there was a detour so it was another 10 mile drive since we have to take the other side of the lake and check in time for the cabin we rented is 3pm. we headed to bear mountain so the mag-ama can snowboard. off they go after almost half an hour of getting ready (change clothes, wear boots, and what-have-you) while inigo and i stayed in the car since it was cold and besides he was sleepy. they got back at 4 pm and we headed to the cabin.

good thing that dette and rea (they got to the cabin earlier) prepared the stuff for our dinner that evening so all i had to do was make timpla the food. but since all of us were a little pooped, we took a nap and all woke up at 11pm, ate, cleaned up and went back to sleep. but i had to stay awake because i had to wait up for our other friends who unfortunately got lost on their way up (blame that d%mn detour).

SATURDAY

breakfast was served at 8am (lovingly prepared by dette and rea) and by 845am the snowboarders were off to bear mountain again while the rest stayed in the cabin to nap. we decided to go out at 330pm to meet up but on the way, we dropped michelle and puujee off to alpine snow for some night snow tubing while noel, inigo and i headed to bear mountain to meet up with the rest. but since they were all dead tired from snowboarding all day, they headed home and only noel, inigo, gabee and i went back to alpine snow. inigo and i didn't snow tubed, we just hang out for a while but it was getting too cold for us so we headed back to the car and waited for dell to come back for us with inigo's snow outfit. he came back 30 minutes after and watched our friends for a while and took some pictures but it was already dark so di na makita ung snow.

since it was getting cold na talaga, the 3 of us headed back to the cabin since i have to prepare pa our dinner.....fresh water shrimps in garlic butter sauce and steamed bokchoy. hay...good thing they enjoyed the dinner. and after that, we were supposed to play some games but we decided to just go to sleep since check out time was 11am. i think we were in lalaland by 12mn.

SUNDAY

breakfast was served at 8am (by dette and rea again) and then we started packing. after cleaning up the place (lucky cleaning lady, she didn't have to clean anything anymore!!!), we started our drive back home to avoid traffic plus we had to go to william's (dell's nephew) 1st birthday party at pacific palisades. and as expected...i got dizzy again! argh!!! but still lucky enough not to throw up...

the downside...i had migraine for 2 days from that weekend trip... ;o(

sleepless nights.....

did u ever lose sleep over something you wanted to have so badly? i just did. for 3 straight nights already. the culprit? THESE SHOES (plus 4 other colors)!!!!!

i love air rifts...i am a conscious buyer to the point that i am being branded cheap, kuripot or barat (except on food, inigo's stuff and scrapbook stuff) but when it comes to Nike's Air Rift line...i go GAGA!!!

okay....it's time to be extra nice and sweet to the hubs. uhm...maybe cook steak and wear something sexy tonight?

neglect.....

i've been neglecting my blog lately because of scrapbooking. and because of that, i have been too busy remembering important events that i was supposed to write about here. bad bad me...ok, let me just collect my thoughts and i will get back to blogging and it's also time to have my purse and credit cards take some rest from too much scrapshopping.

but let me share with you my first layout submitted to the egroup's monthly challenge. does this justify the absence of posts? hehehe.....

addicted.....

gosh, i never realized scrapbooking can be so addicting until last weekend. i spent my weekend going to two stores known to sell scrapbook materials. i went around and felt a different kind of high as i go aisle every aisle admiring each and every stickers, embellishments, die-cuts, ribbons, charms, vellums, cardstocks and other paraphernalias for scrapbooking that are being sold in the store. i had to control myself from picking anything that fancied me. thank goodness for calculators on cellphones. after adding up everything that i picked, i had to make a painful decision.....to let go and just buy what i really needed to finish my layout. hopefully they're still there when i go back this weekend.

anyhow, i'm posting the layout i did the past 2 days, then i realized i forgot to buy the materials i needed for journalling(?). here's what i'm supposed to put : SISTERS...are the flowers in the garden of life.
