thank goodness for TiVo. i was able to watch the Oscars again plus the next 2 programs that followed. i was too tired yesterday that the moment i took a shower all i wanted to do was go to bed. but my friends still stayed a while to watch the Oscars but i was so sleepy that i kept on dozing off thus never really knowing what's going on.so my whole afternoon was spent watching it. ahhhh....the beauty of TiVo - i could pause it if i need to do something i.e. bathroom break or preparing food/snacks for my son or simply wanted to rest my eyes and then play it again without missing anything at all.
i just love Hugh Jackman and his talent. some critics said that he tried so hard to be funny but hey, corny or no corny he's one hot papa!

February 25, Wednesday

it's the official start of the Lenten Season and Catholics have their own little way of giving up a thing or two as a sign of sacrifice. so for this Lenten season, i'm giving up all the things i love - no rice, no soda and no Starbucks Caramel Macchiatto for 40 days. these are my comfort food and i pray that i don't have a major withdrawal seizure from all these.
plus of course i am looking forward to those unwanted pounts that i will lose during the 40-day fasting.
and OMG!!! he's so freakin' good!
but do you think he's g*y?February 26, Thursday
i did a LO to keep me busy. Thursday is usually just me and Igi at home so i didn't have to prepare dinner or anything fancy since the girls get home late from work. so by the time they get home, they just grab a quick bite and rather go to sleep than really eat.
but by night time i'm all glued to the tv to watch my favorite show though it's recorded on TiVo i still prefer watching it on its time slot. weird huh? and don't get me wrong, i hardly get to hog our tv because most of the time it's on sprout or nick jr. and when it's my turn to watch - it's my turn to watch!!!
why? because of him!!! i am so head-over-heels in love with Dr. McArmy!

February 27, Friday
ok i have this thing that i need to be out of the house at least once a week and so Igi and i did some errands again. we went across the street (our house is fronting a huge commercial complex) and went to Vons to get some supply. and as an exercise, Igi and I went from aisle to aisle since we're in no hurry. this is how i teach him the different vegetables, fruits and other things that you see in a supermarket. i learned this from Supernanny. =) and we had fun going around and bought him some cookies as a reward for being a good boy and showing eagerness to learn new things.

i hate awkward situations but somehow have learned how to handle it with grace. but the incident that happened is giving me a lump in my throat and i feel that i'm carrying a brick on my chest.
i guess kids nowadays just think they know everything.
well sorry kid, my loyalty is to your Dad and he deserves to know.
hate me now but that's what a parent must do!
March 1
he's home! =)

Hi Olive, you know, as a teen, I used to think I knew everything too so I hated it when my mom would tell me otherwise. Now I realize that I don't really know it all - even up to now. I appreciate even more the words of wisdom my mom has given me through the years. In time, I'm sure she'll get over it. When she becomes a mom herself, she'll understand that you only have her best interest at heart.
mare, I think he is g*y!
he's got all the signs shooting out off of him :)
he did sing a very weird song in the last episode. parang high na ewan.
